“There is the in-breath and there is the out-breath, and too often we feel like we have to exhale all the time. The inhale is absolutely essential - and then you can exhale.”

- Joan Halifax

Life Coaching offers you a safe space to express your feelings and share your thoughts in a kind and respectful conversation. This is your time to inhale.

Together we will discover and develop your tools to navigate change.

I help people adjust to change not as a quick fix but as a lifelong process. So many of our life experiences leave us filled with emotions and thoughts that may be difficult to voice. Coaching Thoughtfully guides you to find your voice and share your emotions safely. The foundations of my practice, as a life transition coach and a grief recovery specialist, are honesty, flexibility, peace, stability and optimism.

“From my initial consultation with Laurie, I had a good feeling about working with her based on the questions she asked and how direct she was about expectations and the whole process. She was clear, organized and had really great listening skills. From that initial conversation, I decided to invest in myself and work with Laurie to help me fulfill my career and personal goals, and I am so glad I did! I was in a place in my career and life where I felt stagnant, and wanted to find more purposeful work. She helped me uncover and explore my passion in art, and I felt encouraged and supported throughout my decisions. Each session with Laurie was focused and left me with meaningful and manageable “assignments”, which helped me get closer and closer to my goals. It also helped me develop some habits I’m really proud of and continue to maintain after our sessions ended. I truly feel the work I did with Laurie helped me feel more confident in my direction. Laurie is truly gifted in her abilities to ask questions you would have never thought to ask yourself. She helps you explore areas you would have never considered as an option, and she’s so encouraging and supportive, you leave feeling like you could really achieve anything.”
